Intelligent Glass Solutions.

STARGLASS Sp. z o.o. develops technologically advanced glass products for a wide range of applications — from architectural solutions to highly specialised bespoke projects.

Explore our comprehensive range of products and services presented below.

Insulating Glass Units (IGUs)

STARGLASS insulating glass units are manufactured to the highest standards, ensuring consistently high quality and reliability.

Our range includes high-performance thermal insulating glass units, as well as glazing solutions that combine enhanced acoustic insulation with heat-absorbing properties. We also offer solar-control and safety glass, designed to improve both comfort and safety in use.

Safety glass

ESG toughened glass is a type of safety glass widely used in construction, interior architecture, furniture manufacturing and industrial production. VSG/ESG glass is used in areas where the pane must not disintegrate completely after breakage or lose its function as a physical barrier.

Integral blinds

STARGLASS strives to meet the demands of today’s market. Our latest solution is a system of blinds hermetically sealed within an insulating glass unit.

The production technology used ensures complete airtightness of the glazing unit, while the mechanism allows the blinds to be raised, lowered and the slats tilted. The system can be operated electrically using a wall switch or remote control, or manually by means of a cord or crank handle.

Printing on glass

We have expanded our product range to include digital printing on glass using ceramic inks—a relatively new solution on the Polish market. The ability to reproduce virtually any graphic design or photorealistic image, imitate materials such as wood, marble or stone, and create the illusion of their distinctive textures has significantly broadened both our production capabilities and the potential applications of decorative glass.

By combining the decorative qualities of glass with its functional properties, we have created an exceptionally versatile material whose range of applications exceeds conventional expectations.

Fire-resistant glass

FIRESWISS FOAM, manufactured by GLAS TRÖSCH AG FIRESWISS, is a multilayer fire-resistant glass composed of several 3 mm thick FLOAT glass panes and 1 mm thick silicate interlayers (TTS). These interlayers completely absorb thermal radiation energy and distribute it evenly across the entire surface of the glass.

Warm edge spacers

The solution to heat loss through the aluminium spacer at the edge of an insulating glass unit is the use of a so-called warm-edge spacer bar, made from a composite insulating material or stainless steel.

Its application improves thermal insulation around the perimeter of the glazing unit, increases the surface temperature of the glass in this area and reduces the risk of temporary condensation. As a result, the relative indoor humidity level may be approximately 10–15% higher without causing condensation to form.

Heated glass

Heated glass is a type of glazing that generates heat and functions as a heating element. It can be used in roof windows, skylights and glazed roofs, where it prevents the accumulation of snow and ice during the winter months.

SMARTGLASS

When an electrical voltage is applied, a special film allows the transparency of the glass to be switched on or off on demand. This system can be used in entrance and revolving doors, conservatories and sliding partition walls.

TSSA point fixing system

The point-fixing method for glass using Dow Corning® TSSA (Transparent Structural Silicone Adhesive®) technology combines high aesthetic quality with improved energy efficiency. The absence of drilled holes in the insulating glass unit minimises the risk of argon leakage from the cavity between the panes and eliminates thermal bridging.

Alarm loop

The glazing unit consists of toughened glass with an electrically conductive alarm loop applied by screen printing and positioned inside the insulating glass unit. A cable connected to the power supply and alarm system is soldered to the ends of the loop.

In the event of an impact, the toughened glass shatters across the entire surface into small, blunt fragments, destroying the alarm loop, breaking the electrical circuit and triggering the alarm.
